Term 1
Line and Shape
To me the main focus of the photo is the path of tire tracks made by ATVs passing through. As it winds through the forest the eyes follow it and wonder where it leads to. The path stretches all across the foreground of the picture and moves all along the length of the picture. I took the photo looking straight on and kneeling down slightly to really emphasize the dirt path. All the above photos were taken horizontally with some slight angles. In mainly the path and piano pictures the rule of thirds are used the most to create the focus of where the viewer should look. I believe the path picture is the most dynamic and composed picture.
Pattern and Texture
The distance of the window in the gym makes it look smaller in comparison to the surrounding area. To capture the photo I laid down on the track to show the length of the walls and ceiling. Photo is the horizontal. The rule of thirds does apply because the walls, window and track all line up with the grid. I believe the picture shows pattern because of the pillars on the walls and the reflection from the light on the floor of the track.
